About The Team
What is 'Palomar Hotshots Racing?'
'Palomar Hotshots Racing' is a team of Wildland Firefighters from the Southern California area; dedicated individuals who have a passion for off road desert racing. Although we are a new team, our riders have over 30 years combined off road racing experience. Our mechanics have also worked on the best off road racing bikes in the world.
In 2008, 'Palomar Hotshots Racing' joined with the 'Wildland Firefighter Foundation' and committed its racing efforts toward raising money and awareness for this worthy organization. We aim to benefit the 'Wildland Firefighters Foundation' by encouraging direct donations to the foundation via the links throughout this website. We will contribute 80% of all money donated to the foundation via 'Palomar Hotshots Racing' throughout the season, and educate our fans, spectators, and supporters about the important services and programs funded by the 'Wildland Firefighter Foundation.'
In 2009, 'Palomar Hotshots Racing' competed in the prestigious 'S.C.O.R.E. Desert Racing Series' San Felipe 250, in the Sportsman Motorcycle Over 250cc Class. With your sponsorship, we will not only continue to raise substantial money for the 'Wildland Firefighter Foundation,' but we will also raise the profile and popularity of one of the fastest growing international spectator sports. As our performance indicates, we are committed to achieving a high level of success in our sport, and also promoting our sponsors through special events and top finishes in the races we enter.
We plan on continuing our racing and fund raising efforts by racing in the 2010 'S.C.O.R.E. Desert Racing Series.'
